Rooted in Prosperity was created from a simple belief: support should feel personal, welcoming, and real.
Life brings transitions, challenges, and moments when you may need space to slow down, sort through what you’re carrying, and feel heard.
Through individual therapy, workshops, and professional supervision, we create meaningful spaces for honest conversations, personal growth, and professional development.
Our approach is person-centered and practical—not stiff, judgmental, or one-size-fits-all. We meet people where they are while offering compassion, thoughtful guidance, and tools they can use beyond the moment.
To us, being rooted means having a strong foundation, and prosperity means having the space and support to grow into what’s next. That belief is at the heart of everything we do.
🌱 Meet Shelby: Founder & Therapist
Hey! I’m Shelby, a Licensed Independent Social Worker with Supervision Designation (LISW-S) in Ohio and a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Kentucky. I have more than nine years of experience in the social service field, supporting people through life transitions and everyday mental wellness concerns.
I earned both my bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Northern Kentucky University. My education and experience have shaped my belief that support should feel personal, welcoming, and connected to what each person actually needs.
I created Rooted in Prosperity to be more than a local practice. It’s a place for real conversations, meaningful connection, and growth through therapy, professional supervision, and community workshops. My goal is to help people slow down, sort through what they’re carrying, and feel supported as they move forward.
No matter who you are or what brings you here, there is space for you.

📖 Meet Prosper
Sometimes you just need somewhere to put all the thoughts taking up space in your head. That’s why Shelby created Prosper: A Journal of Exploration and Reflection.
With more than 100 prompts and affirmations, Prosper gives you space to check in with yourself, be honest about where you are, notice patterns, and give yourself credit for how far you’ve come.
There are no rules here—write a little, skip around, take a break, and come back when you’re ready. This journal is yours to use in whatever way feels right for you.
